Amber Bieg, MBA

Background

Amber works with large organizations and communities on resilient strategies, mission-driven businesses on sustainable growth, and supports entrepreneurs in birthing their visions. For nearly two decades, she has led large-scale visionary projects, raising millions of dollars and engaging communities to support innovative and world-bettering ideas.  She has led the development of highly successful economic studies, sustainability assessments, and campaigns for government agencies, mission-driven companies and NGOs. In addition to WSC, Amber has founded four other ventures:

  1. Green Ideas, a technology, design and communications firm;
  2. Fabripod LLC, a modern-design home furnishing manufacturer;
  3. California Cloth, a sustainable textile line; and
  4. Open Tree Map.

She also co-authored two large-scale economy feasibility studies for a regional textile mill with Fibershed and a localized farm to retail vertically integrated agri-food business for the Food Commons.

Ms. Bieg has an MBA in Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School and a BA in International Studies and Spanish, with a focus on Economic Development and Women’s Studies from the University of Oregon.
