Prior to joining WSC, Jennifer worked in commercial real estate lending as a portfolio manager and underwriter. Her focus was on residential homebuilders and commercial projects, including construction. Jennifer always held an affection and respect for the natural world and the people inhabiting it, which led her to seek a career in a field aligned with protecting their future.
Jennifer graduated from Colorado State University with a B.A. in Economics and studied carbon pricing. Her interests include energy economics, primarily the impacts of supply and demand through consumer behavior, and development economics, with a focus on international trade and monetary policy.
Outside of work, you may find Jennifer relaxing by the river or a mountain stream with her dog Poppy, or curled up on the couch with a good book and her two cats, Margot and Jasper (Poppy too). She is an avid hiker and enjoys getting away on weekend camping trips. Poetry and photography are two of her favorite side hobbies, and she is also a tutor at the Learning Lab for ESL students. Her favorite photography subjects are wildflowers and insects. Other passions of hers include delicious food (both cooking and eating), travel, and music.
